Objectives
The rules for the hostel are framed with a view that the inmates of the hostel should perform better than the day scholars. Four years of stay in hostel along with batch mates, seniors and juniors will turn a student into a well-disciplined and confident individual with good sense of brotherhood and team sprit. Living together in a community like this would help each student to adjust with others (who hail from different  backgrounds) and to lead a life during the stay in the college. In St.Thomas Boys Hostel and St. Mary’s Girls Hostel, top priority is given to the academics, discipline and safety of the students. The objective is to transform the students in to complete professional with a human face.

Admission
The admission in the hostel for first year students is given to select number of students based on first come first basis. For subsequent year’s admission in the hostel is restricted and a student has to under go a formal interview wherein he/she if found suitable shall be allowed to stay.
Only those students who agree to follow the rules and regulations laid down herein will be allowed to continue to stay in hostel. Admission can be denied to any student in any year, upon intimation to their Parent / Local Guardian.
Admission to the hostel is given on yearly basis calculated from July to May of academic year, as such ordinarily students have to be proposed to vacate their rooms by 30th of May.
